Every Vote Counts at the San Antonio Public Library

Black History Month 2016

SAN ANTONIO (February 2, 2016) —Beginning today, San Antonio Public Library (SAPL) will celebrate “Every Vote Counts,” a special come & go crafts program that celebrates Black History Month.

The San Antonio Public Library honors diversity, and promotes learning and literacy in all forms. In celebration of Black History Month and the upcoming national election, SAPL is taking a look back at the Voting Rights Act of 1965. Children and families are invited to share a little history and participate in a very special election. Your vote for a favorite hero character might be the one that decides the election!

“Every Vote Counts” will take place at the following branches:
